I have been a member of the ORRRC since the mid-90’s and a Trustee since 2004. I am on the committees for the Marathon, Ghost n Goblin and Turkey Trot. As a senior member of the board, I bring much historical knowledge, but also wish to see the club keep growing. It would be an honor to continue as a trustee.

I am a runner and race volunteer. I am a girl scout leader, sorority member and chapter leader of She Runs This Town. I would love to see the club grow, move towards less waste events, and continue to offer fun events for a variety of running abilities.

Miller, Shannon Shelton
Shannon Shelton Miller has completed hundreds of races, from 5Ks to 50Ks, and ran her first ultras in 2023. Shannon works in media relations at the University of Dayton and operates her own freelance writing/public relations business. She currently writes about running for the Black Girls Run blog.

I am happy to run for trustee of the ORRRC again. I served as secretary/trustee until 2021. I am currently RD of Lou Cox 5K at Deweese Park.

As current president and GnG co-RD since 2017, I spend countless volunteer hours handling issues and ensuring our club continues to be one of the best running clubs in the country. I am also responsible for Dayton being the first Ohio city to become an RRCA-certified runner friendly community.

Dan Semsel is a Team Leader for Destination Marathons and a retired USAF officer. Dan has completed an Ironman, 75 marathons and 33 ultramarathons. He is also a USA Track and Field certified coach who leads the 4Seasons Training Team in Kettering.

Jeff is on the Team RWB Leadership Team and serves as the Run Coordinator. He also sits on the Dayton Track Club’s Steering Committee. He is a member of the DTC’s Pace Team, pacing multiple half marathons each year. Jeff is a veteran of the USAF.

I’ve been an ORRRC member for over a decade and have run most of the club races. I have also been the RD for the Narrows Trail race for 5 years. I also run regularly with the 5 Rivers Run team, as well as DTC. I love the Dayton running community and would like to be able to have a positive impact on it.
