Englewood 5k
WHEN: Wednesday, July 16. The race starts at 7:00 p.m.
WHERE: Englewood Metropark West Park – 100 E. National Rd., Englewood, OH 45322
PARKING:
From either east or west, take I-70 to the State Route 48 exit and head north on Route 48 into Englewood. DO NOT CROSS DAM. Race is on the west side of the park! Use entrance ER-5 at the intersection of National Road (US 40) and Main Street (US 48) in downtown Englewood. Follow the park road to the parking lot. We will be using Lawmill Shelter.
NOTE: W. National Road/U.S. 40 will likely be impassable due to pre-planned road construction. The following link provides instructions for a detour around W. National Road/U.S. 40 construction: https://www.metroparks.org/alerts/us-route-40-construction/
Volunteers– Please note it will be necessary to take River Rd. to E. Martindale Rd. to Frederick Pike to W. National Rd. to Pattys Rd. to get to the race turn-around and aid/water station.
REGISTRATION
PRE-REGISTRATION: If available, can be found HERE
REGISTRATION: Race Day Registration. We recommend you arrive at least one hour before the race to park, register and warm-up prior to the race start.
COURSE: Out and back on the bike path. First .5 mile is mostly a fast downhill… meaning the last .5 mile is “slightly” uphill, just kidding, it’s a real climb. Course Map.

All Current Members Run for Free (Bring Your Membership Card)
Non-Members:
– $10 for ages 15 and up
– Free for ages 14 and under

Minors must have the liability waiver (this is also the registration sheet at the event) signed by a parent or guardian.
AWARDS: First Overall Male/Female, First Male/Female Masters (over 40), First Grand Master Male/Female (over 50), First Male/Female Senior (over 60) – Recipients of overall awards are not eligible for age group awards. Ribbons for ages 0 – 9 for all participants. Finisher medals for top 3 in Age group categories: 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & up.
