Frosty 14
WHEN: Saturday, February 22. The race starts at 9 a.m. There is a 5-hour cutoff for timing and amenities on this race (for the safety of our volunteers given the typically cold weather), however, participants are welcome to start the race earlier (remember to still check-in!) and self-time so that they get in before 2 p.m.
PARKING: Caesar Creek State Park Visitor Center, 3980 Clarksville Rd, Waynesville, Warren, Ohio 45068
REGISTRATION: If pre-registration is available, it will be found here.
For Race Day Registration, we recommend you arrive at least one hour before the race to park, register, and warm up prior to the race start.
COURSE INFORMATION:
Starting at the visitor center, we travel across the dam first (.7 miles road with large gravel shoulder) to the spillway single track. A short climb into the gorge trail, to the creek crossing (you probably will get wet). You will run through a small village, run on an abandoned road, some nice old growth, and some ugly new growth. At mile 5.5 or so, you will hit SR73 for a 1-mile road run to the 6.5-mile section to the finish… which is 96.49343% single track and rolling. Due to the season, weather can be a factor making the Frosty a real challenge.
