A great race for the budding trail runner to experience.

Counter-clockwise on the Green trail to the .2 mile mark and veer to the right onto yellow trail through the meadow. Then it's back on the green and through the woods and down the rocky stairs at mile .8 and over the first creek. At mile 1, you come to Gravel Hill and into the largest old growth trees in the park. At mile 1.4 and down HairPin Hill, you come the second creek crossing. After a few rolling hills to mile 1.8 where you come upon Sugar Creek proper. Starting at mile 2.1, the uphill climb begins and really steepens with Leg Burn Hill at mile 2.5. Rinse and repeat for the 10k course.

REGISTRATION: In an effort to speed up the registration process and to reduce our paper consumption and trash output, we are accepting pre-registration online here.  For now, online registration is for your personal participant data only; we are not collecting payment online.  All participants will be expected to pay on site according to the fee schedule shown below. Online registration ends at 11:59:59PM on Sunday 06-06-10.  Race Day Registration is also available. We recommend you arrive at least one hour before the race to park, register and warm-up prior to the race start.

FEES:

AWARDS:

First Overall Male/Female, First Male/Female Masters (over 40), First Grand Master Male/Female (over 50), First Male/Female Senior (over 60) - Recipients of overall awards are not eligible for age group awards. Age group categories : 9 and under (non-competitive, all finishers are winners), 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & up.
