NEW Course for 2010.... Out and back with 1.24 mile lolly-pop turnaround.  Total distance is:  8.26 Miles  (Measuring wheel)

The first two thirds of a mile has 2 sharp hills with a quick descent bringing you to the mile worth of flat meadow running to allow you to make your passes... then back into old growth forest.

The next few miles included: slippery bridge crossings, stream jumps, rooty footing, and off camber fun.

The first large creek crossing begins the the lolly-pop. It could be low, knee-high, frozen or a combo of both, just expect to get wet! The loop contains technical narrow single track, open meadows and another freezing creek crossing and the aid station. After the station, your heading back along the course that you just finished... in reverse.

WHEN: Saturday January 09, 2010. The race starts at 10am.

PARKING: 401 Normandy Ridge Rd Dayton, OH 45459 (Normandy Elementary School / Grant Park)

REGISTRATION: Race Day Registration Only. We recommend you arrive at least one hour before the race to park, register and warm-up prior to the race start.

AWARDS:

First Overall Male/Female, First Male/Female Masters (over 40), First Grand Master Male/Female (over 50), First Male/Female Senior (over 60) - Recipients of overall awards are not eligible for age group awards. Age group categories : 9 and under (non-competitive, all finishers are winners), 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & up.
